Giant pet insect. I have a lot of babies looking for a new home and need to be picked up in mid Jylland. They are ready to go now and will be full size within months.
They move slowly and can't really fly and can't jump very far. You can hold them and let them walk on you. They eat leaves, fruits and such and fish food for protein.
They are very quiet.
Don't need a huge cage but bigger is better.
You can feed them rose and berry bush leaves that can be found even in winter outside in Denmark, also beech (Bøg = every hedge the kommune plants) and more types.
Siliquofera grandis:
This very well-camouflaged, green and leaf-like bush cricket is one of the world's largest Orthoptera (grasshopper, crickets and alike), with adults typically having a length of 10.7–13 cm and a wingspan of 25–27 cm; it can weigh more than 30 g
