The Dräger Alcotest® 4000 alcometer is a reliable breathalyzer designed for responsible drivers, ensuring fitness to drive quickly. It operates with a simple 'Start – Blow – Result' process. This device utilizes the same technology found in precision alcometers used by authorities, guaranteeing accurate results and allowing you to get behind the wheel with confidence.
Dräger has been a global market leader and supplier of breath alcohol measuring devices for professionals for over 60 years. The Alcotest® 4000 alcometer's measurement technology is identical to that of precision alcometers. Continuous technical development over six decades has made the Alcotest 4000 exceptionally fast and reliable. As a private user or professional driver, you can easily avoid unpleasant surprises by checking your breath alcohol content. Globally, over 30 million breath alcohol measurements are performed with Dräger devices annually, reflecting their proven German quality.
Operating the Dräger alcometer is straightforward: simply press the backlit function button. The device's display and optional acoustic signals guide the user through the breath test. The Dräger Alcotest 4000 is ready for use in seconds, allowing for immediate testing. Navigating the menu is also managed with the same function button.
The device features an easily attachable mouthpiece that can be protected with a hygienic cover. Each person tested should use their own mouthpiece. The device comes with three interchangeable mouthpieces, with additional ones available for separate purchase. Breath air passes through the mouthpiece's air channel, and only a small sample of air is taken for analysis. This ensures that residual alcohol from previous breaths does not remain in the device, maintaining accurate and reliable measurement results. Police alcometers utilize the same technology.
Whether it's a winter night or a hot summer day, the Dräger 4000 is almost immediately ready for use. Its operating temperature range is -5 °C to +50 °C (23 °F to 122 °F), and thanks to its compact design, the Dräger Alcotest 4000 fits easily into a pocket or handbag. This allows you to perform a breath test discreetly anywhere.
The Alcotest 4000 is manufactured in Germany and meets the highest quality standards. Regular calibration of the device ensures that the measurement technology remains accurate for a long time. Dräger's worldwide, regionally divided service network ensures that you can continue to use the device year after year.
