Stand: Brugt - men i god stand
A fantastic vintage 16” A Zildjian hihat, made at the Zildjian factory in the USA in the late 1950s, smoky, warm, and lush with great stick definition. It blends very musically and is easy to play. It sounds like Brian Blade’s 16” A hihat, and is suited for any jazz or indie rock situation. The rivet holes in the bottom cymbal prevent it from choking. The top cymbal has a slight keyhole. No dents or cracks. 1,018g/1,062g.
You cannot buy any modern cymbals that sound like the 1950s A Zildjians, their musical legacy is heard with drummers like Elvin Jones (he played As on many iconic 1963-64 era recordings), Max Roach, Philly Joe Jones, Buddy Rich, and many others.
