Varebeskrivelse
Stand: Brugt - men i god stand
Guitartype: Elektriske guitarer
..a fun, simple, and truly great sounding vintage electric guitar. Originally offered as a low-budget, entry-level option.. But this model has since been recognized and regarded as 'no joke' of an instrument and chosen to be played by many outstanding and iconic musicians
So..here's my offering, up for sale to anyone interested.
-Harmony H44 Stratotone
-Made in 1954 (dated by way of the number codes found on this guitar's original tone and volume pots)
-Non-truss-rod-adjustable, Big, chunky neck (surprisingly comfortable and easy to play).
-Full-scale(25.5inches) Brazilian rosewood fretboard (and matching bridge)
-One-piece, neck-through-solid-body design
-A single, original DeArmond 'Hershey bar' pickup (..sounds wonderful)
-1 volume and 1 tone knob, and a two-way switch for setting 'rhythm' and 'lead' tones (in the 'lead' setting the tone adjustment pot gets bypassed and tone is 'full-on' only - so you can adjust for a 'rhythm' tone setting, and then quickly switch to a full-on 'lead' tone option if/when desired ..which is pretty clever for a simple, single pickup design).
-Original real copper lacquer (quite worn all over.. but still present.)
...This one is all-original -except for new frets (fretboard was leveled in the process), an added guitar-strap button, a replacement input-jack mounting plate (made of the same material, color, shape and thickness as the original), and a few added screws (to both the pickguard, and to the tailpiece) for improved stability and functionality.
...It's been well-played, for sure. But it also has been well-maintained, is solid and still functions, performs and plays Great.
(..comes with a worn but working gig bag)
