This striking and decorative ceramic wall lamp was designed by Hans Nielsen Buch for Brangstrup Stentøj, Denmark, in the 1970s. A wonderful example of Danish stoneware craftsmanship, the piece blends sculptural form with warm, ambient lighting.
The lamp features a large bowl-shaped base with a finely rifled surface pattern, paired with a unique shade with perforated holes allow the light to shine softly through, creating a beautiful, atmospheric effect. The outside of the shade is unglazed, adding a raw, earthy texture that contrasts nicely with the glazed surfaces.
The lamp is stamped “HNB Danmark” on the back.
