PB-1 Power Booster gives your signal up to 15dB of clean boost and a warm, natural tone, and the active buffer circuitry lets you drive long cable runs. The rear of the pedal features recessed controls for the level of the boost as well as the "Drag" control, a load-correcting variable impedance circuit to get the same exact tone as if you were plugged straight into the amp or to load it all down a bit for a different sound.
