The MCX is powered by a single 88 g CO2 capsule housed in the stock guide, which can be detached with the push of a button. This model fires Diabolo (waisted) pellets, loaded into a box magazine with a capacity of 30 rounds. The air rifle launches pellets at a velocity of 183 m/s (600 FPS).
The rifle features a long 22 mm Picatinny (RIS) top rail for mounting any optoelectronic device. Factory-installed, fully adjustable flip-up iron sights (front post and rear aperture) are mounted on the rail. The M-LOK handguard allows the attachment of additional tactical accessories.
The pistol grip and buttpad are textured for a secure, non-slip hold. Before the first shot, the air rifle must be charged just like its live-fire counterpart, which pierces the CO2 cartridge. An ambidextrous thumb safety prevents accidental discharge.
