Beskrivelse
This never produced exotic xc race fork was marketed in 2005 as the ultimate cross country fork, and somewhat a SID killer. It weighs less than a Manitou Mars at 2.8 pounds! No expense spared build, with a polished titanium crown, scandium steerer and stanchions, and magnesium lower legs. It has a SPUL valve damper, which was an early "platform". Expected retail was $700! Calling this fork "rare" would be a gross understatement. Deserving of a top spec show bike to be displayed on! Note the "prototype" badge near the disc brake mount, and "prototype" stamped on the steerer.
Disclaimer: This is a pre production fork, with unknown durability. It is probably best for a display show bike or a light rider. Shred with this thing at your own risk.
Condition
Near mint, barely tested condition! This came from the HippieTech Suspension lot. The owner Jerry tested this fork for Spinner, and was used only for very few miles on a hardtail. It seems to function perfectly with no leaks. Cosmetically it is excellent to near mint, with the exception of some marks on the right leg's decal.
