This classic from SILTALA YO in Finland can get you around safely and comfortably, but is also very suitable for houseboating or first-class vacation sailing.

For several reasons, the Nauticat 40 is an ideal long-distance boat for both the quality-conscious couple and the large family.
Above deck, there's plenty of space to enjoy life under the sun - there's always a comfortable place to enjoy the sun and weather. Working conditions under sail are also optimized based on a proven concept to provide the crew with the utmost safety and comfort. The high and fixed sea rail provides peace of mind. The boat is large but very maneuverable - especially the efficient bow thruster is great for docking and leaving the dock.
Many Nauticat 40 owners will especially praise the space to leeward - Nauticat boats really are in a class of their own here!
The space is incredible and really well laid out.
The wheelhouse with the large corner sofa, from where you can see the entire horizon and follow the sailing - or the harbor life. In the wheelhouse roof, there are 2 skylights that can be opened to "open sky".
The wheelhouse is reminiscent of much larger ships when you stand with the large navigation table and the many instruments in front of you. From here (as from the aft deck) the skipper has 100% control over his ship.

At the front of the ship, on the lower deck, to port is the longitudinal galley with plenty of space and everything within easy reach. The galley offers a gas stove, gas oven, refrigerator, cooler and freezer. Steel sink and of course v/k - pressurized water. Opposite the pantry is a dining table and plenty of cupboard space.

In the bow there is a passageway with plenty of closet space and toilet/bathroom - and at the very front of the forepeak with 2 good double beds and a berth for a third person.
At the aft end is the Captain's Cabin - naturally with a king-size bed and access to a shower and toilet. There is also an extra cabin with a bunk for the large family. A total of 3 beautiful cabins and a large saloon that can be converted into an additional double bed. A total of 9 beds.
This Nauticat 40 is looked after and cared for by a mechanically and sailing skilled skipper. There are upgrades on all winches, engine, generator etc. 2 sets of sails and lots of spare parts.
Boat rack can be purchased if desired. Radar defective.
