Odette has undergone a thorough renovation of the ship and engine at a shipyard in Sweden specializing in noble wooden boats.
Odette has been systematically overhauled and three mahogany planks have been replaced and some minor rot damage has been repaired. The hull has been sanded completely clean of paint and varnish. Subsequently, the hull has been stained with mahogany stain and 10 coats of varnish. The boat has been treated with linseed oil inboard.
The engine has been overhauled by a boat mechanic specializing in Volvo marine engines.
