Marieholm IF-Boot

Marieholm, årg. 1972, skrogmateriale Glasfiber-armeret plast, Blyfri, hjemhavn Fehmarn (Tyskland), As we are looking to expand for future trips, it is with a heavy heart that we are selling our IF boat "Aloha" - GER 999 - built in 1972.
The classic lines, the excellent sailing characteristics and the exceptional seaworthiness have given us 10 wonderful sailing years on this IF boat. For anyone who is not yet familiar with the boat, there is a detailed used boat test in Yacht 18/2017. The IF boat is ideal for young families and anyone who wants to have a lot of sailing fun for little money and little effort.

We have owned the boat since 2015 and its home port is Orth on Fehmarn. The boat has always been stored indoors in winter. It is ready to sail and is technically in good condition. However, some time could be invested in the exterior appearance.

The forward hatch, sliding hatch and window frames are tight. We cannot detect any osmosis damage. The underwater hull is freshly painted.

The ship is equipped with a furling system. The mainsail is equipped with a single-line reefing system and lazy jacks. All lines, such as the main halyard, reefing line, boom vang and lazy jacks, are led into the cockpit. The boat can therefore be sailed single-handed without any problems.

Unfortunately, the Volvo Penta MD 1 built-in engine has been defective since 2022, but has been replaced by a new outboard. The old engine has remained in the ship to maintain the ballast weight. (The majority of IF boats are equipped with an outboard engine, the built-in diesel is the exception rather than the rule)

The sale includes a double-axle trailer. Originally a road trailer with an operating license, which expired in 2015. The trailer is currently only used as a port trailer and winter storage trailer.

The ship incl. trailer can be viewed in the indoor storage facility on Fehmarn. All documents and receipts are available in the original. We are at your disposal for further questions. Assistance with launching, setting the mast and test sailing is of course possible.

Trailer manufactured by Neptun-Oldenburg, type 2000, serial no. 5116, year of construction 1972, 2-axle, operating license was available, but was taken out of service in 2015, overrun brake defective, ball coupling was replaced by a specialist company in 2021, 2 new tires in 2025.
