This is a 1969 T2 Early Bay "low light" — one of the most loved and sought-after of all the classic VW buses — finished in its original VW Off White and wearing a lifetime of genuine patina. No fake aging, no shortcuts. Just the real thing.
Originally registered in California, it made its way to Denmark back in March 2016 and has been in the hands of three careful owners here ever since.

🚐 The Bus
It looks exactly like it should — original, unrestored, and full of character. There are a few patches of minor surface rust here and there, but nothing that needs urgent attention. This is a bus that invites you to enjoy it, not worry about it.
The original 1600cc engine is still in place, breathing nicely through a glass-pack EMPI exhaust that sounds exactly as good as you'd hope. The odometer shows 32,000 miles — it’s been around the clock, as you'd expect from a bus this age — but i’ts been well looked after.
Speaking of looking after it — a slightly lowered 1970 front axle has been fitted, giving it a great stance and — more importantly — safer disc brakes up front. A really worthwhile upgrade that makes driving in modern traffic a much more relaxed experience.

The bus has a current MOT (syn) with a full 5 years remaining — which is a lovely thing to have sorted. In the summer of 2024, the garage where it lives experienced flooding. Everything was properly taken care of, with over DKK 100,000 spent on repairs, and there's no trace of it today.
