Beneteau First 31.7 GTE

Beneteau, årg. 2003, skrogmateriale Glasfiber-armeret plast, Diesel, hjemhavn Kiel (Tyskland), For sale is a Beneteau First 31.7 from 2003. The boat is in second hand and is in good, well-maintained condition. The boat has been sailed little from the first hand (2003-2019, moored on the IJsselmeer) and the sails (Quantum sail wardrobe, main + genoa) are still in good condition. Compared to other 31.7s, which often come from the Mediterranean, the boat has seen little sun.
The hull and keel are in good condition. The wooden fittings below deck are in unusually good condition, as the boat has always been carefully lived on. The cushions are also in good and usable condition.

The built-in engine (Volvo Penta MD2020 D) has only run ~360 hours due to low usage and has been regularly serviced by a specialist company. It runs without any problems.

After the boat was taken over in 2019, various modernization and maintenance measures were carried out, including
- Installation of a Tessilmare rubbing strake port and starboard.
- Renewal of all shroud tensioners
- Renewal of the forestay (2023)
- Replacement of a central shroud tensioner (2025)
- Conversion of the navigation lighting to LED technology (Aquasignal 3-color lantern with LED anchor light and redundant Aquasignal LED position lighting on the pulpit and stern). The steamer light and deck lighting remain unchanged.
- Conversion of the saloon, wet room and cabin lighting to LED lights (Ra value >97%, thus very good color rendering)
- Extension of the on-board electrical system with an additional switch panel with USB and 12V sockets in the saloon and forward cabin
- Retrofitting of a solar charging panel (Revolt mobile panel, 100W) with Victron solar charge controller (15A)
- Conversion to lithium-iron consumer battery 100Ah and Vetus starter battery 60Ah (to be carried out in 2025). The consumer battery is charged either by engine (Victron-Orion TR Smart 30A), by shore power (Sterling charger, connected to CEE shore power socket in the cockpit) or by solar panel.
- Installation of a handle on the bathing platform
- Retrofitting of a 3rd air outlet for the diesel heater in the aft chamber
- 2-part Plexiglas plug-in bulkhead with full fittings (same thickness as the wooden plug-in bulkhead)

A large, well-fitting and very stable winter storage rack (galvanized) can be purchased as an option.

Further information and explanations are available during a personal viewing in Kiel. Test sailing is also possible. In order to counteract fun viewings, a fee of 50€ will be charged for a trial sail. The fee will be credited in the event of a purchase. The boat will remain in the water until the beginning of October. After that it will come ashore in Kiel-Schilksee.
