Bavaria, årg. 2007, skrogmateriale Glasfiber-armeret plast, Diesel, hjemhavn Oskarshamn (Sverige), S/Y Anniara is very well equipped for long distance sailing. She sailed around the world 2012-2015. Since then we have equipped and upgraded her further to have her in top condition for a planned retirement stay in the Caribbean or possibly another lap around the world (the Pacific Ocean is fantastic!). However, illness has intervened.
Anniara is an ideal boat for those who do not have the time to rebuild and upgrade a standard long-distance sailing boat themselves. She is equipped with double forestay, backstay, Sailomat 700 wind rudder, targa bow with solar cells 2 x 55w and 2 x 25w and Rutland wind generator 914i. The LPG compartment is converted to hold 10 kg of LPG and the battery bank is upgraded to 2 consumption batteries of 180 Ah each (new 2023) and starter battery of 55 Ah. Sails from Royal Marin, furling main new 2017, genoa new 2020, spire boom. Gennaker and cutter jib. To facilitate gennaker sailing we have put the gennaker on roller, two extra winches are fitted for this sail. Two spare sails are included, roller furler and genoa from Elvström/Sobstad.
Short wave radio (user license required). Both stationary and handheld VHF. Life raft, Epirb and satellite phone. The navigation is updated with Raymarine Axiom plotter new 2021, Raymarine autopilot ST 6001 new drive 2022 and AIS True Heading new 2018 (other instruments are also Raymarine).
The hull was epoxy treated in 2021, all penetrations were changed to composite. The bellows were replaced in 2021 at the same time as the propeller was renovated. Electric windlass in the bow (wireless) replaced in 2021, anchor Rocna 20 kg, 50 m anchor chain. Sprayhood with openable window from 2016, cockpit tent, heating in cockpit. Heater Webasto 5000 which can also be used as a fan. As a rule, the cold is not a concern on long-distance sailing to more southern latitudes - but the heat is. There is a solar-powered fan in the owner's cabin and an electric one in the saloon.
The gas stove was replaced in 2016, electric shutdown. Extra folding storage area in the kitchen, gas grill. Fully equipped with kitchen crockery. All lighting is changed to led. Safety cabinet.
Anchor lighting with twilight relay. Rubber dinghy Aquaquick. Outboard Suzuki 2.5 hp and Yamaha 2 hp. 2 mini bikes, extra diesel and water tanks, lots of rope, fishing equipment, etc. S/Y Anniara is registered in the Maritime Register.
