Flipper Scow Spækhugger Family I

Flipper Scow, årg. 1980, skrogmateriale Glasfiber-armeret plast, Benzin, hjemhavn Wendtorf (Tyskland), The boat is equipped with an outboard motor (Yamaha F 8 FMHL 8hp) from 2021 (invoice available). According to the previous owner, this only has approx. 30 operating hours.

The boat comes with various sails and equipment.

I took over the boat at the end of last year's season for considerably more money. Since I didn't get to sail it any more, my only nautical activity with the boat was to sail it from the jetty or water berth to the land berth with the outboard engine. Apart from some minor repairs, I basically only washed the cushions and covers. I don't foresee having the opportunity to use and maintain the boat.

The "Spækhugger" is the first boat designed by Danish boat builder Peter Bruun. The "Spækhugger Family" is the little sister of the popular Grinde, which was also designed by Peter Bruun. Compared to the Grinde, the Spækhugger is more compact and performs better.

Anyone who is prepared to devote a little effort and care to the boat has the opportunity to acquire a wonderful sailing boat at a comparatively low entry-level price.
