Nauticat 321 is a boat built for Nordic conditions. The Nauticat sailboat series are good sailors with fin keel and sail-optimized hull, cannot be compared with the Nauticat motor sailors.
This is the sports version of the 321 deeper keel 1.80m vs 1.50 and higher mast. Nauticat, conc in 2018, built boats very solid and with all parts from the top shelf.
The hull is fully molded, not sandwiched, and can withstand a full grounding at eight knots. This one has not been aground :) All interior is solid teak and mahogany.
A sailboat for advanced sailors who have been on a couple of production boats and watched them quietly fall apart. With maintenance and upgrades, this boat can last a lifetime. Possibly those who have frozen their way through cold and wet night watches at the helm. Here you can set sail and go into the heat. I've barely worn sailing clothes in this one. You have a full overview of the sails from the inside.
I bought the boat after a year of solo transatlantic sailing. At the time, I had a good idea of what qualities the ultimate touring boat should have, and this one has them. It's easy to handle for one or two people, handles the sea well as it's not flat-bottomed, sails very well, a new furling stay with jib gives completely different options when sailing upwind / a lot of wind when you want less sail up.
A half-rolled genoa gives mostly only heel and poor propulsion. I've spent a lot of time on maintenance and upgrades, but a change in my life situation means that I unfortunately don't have time to use it as much as it deserves. So after a few years of little use, I have chosen to let it go on with a heavy heart. Have had the boat up for bottom lubrication, change of zinc. The boat can be inspected / tested in Horten, an hour from Oslo.

Raymarine 12 chartplotter inside (new 2016), Raymarine 9 chartplotter outside (new 2025). Raymarine Quantum radar (new 2016). Raymarine Autopilot. AIS, Gyro. Depth/speed/temp. Wind gauge. Stationary VHF. Emergency beacon. TV. Radio.
Sails:
Mainsail Gran hpc 2014 (roller), Genoa Gran hpc 2014 (roller), Jib Elvstøm Epex 2021(roller), Genaks (stocking), storm sail. In 2021, a system was set up with Furlex 104s (21.000,-) and Elvstøm Epex jib (32.000,-) and an extra Harken winch (6000,-) this improved the sailing characteristics upwind considerably.

The boat was converted to Lithium battery in 2021 (420Ah) with full system from Victron on monitoring, charging, inverter, solar cell, Cerbo GX w. screen, remote monitoring via web.
Div:
Efoy methanol fuel cell. Webasto heater (service 2025). Viking offshore 4 person life raft in bag. Engine Yanmar 3JH3TE 40hp, 1834 hours. Bow thruster. Electric winch handle. Vulcan 25kg anchor.
