We're selling our 15-foot dinghy cruiser, built in 1954, after almost 20 years. For the past 17 years, we've sailed it in the Stockholm archipelago, where it's also available for viewing. The boat is built from oak, ready to sail, fully equipped, and in as good condition as an old wooden boat can be. Fancy a summer of sailing in the archipelago? Simply schedule an appointment and set sail. The boat offers room for two and storage space for provisions and water for more than four weeks. It's relatively easy to maintain for a wooden boat and has many extras and upgrades (see below). The new sails (North Sails; value approx. €3,000) have hardly been used and were custom-made. This makes the boat suitable for both racing and touring.

About the boat's history:

Built in 1954 as an open racing dinghy at the Bölte shipyard in Rostock.

Equipped with a cabin and interior furnishings in 1972. Two pull-out berths, a kitchenette, a wardrobe, three lockers, and a chart compartment in the bow. The outer skin and deck are covered with plastic. It still fits perfectly; we checked the underwater wood annually and found no soft spots.

Sailed as a family boat in Warnemünde until the 1990s.

We acquired it in 2006 and have since carried out or had professionally carried out the following renovations:

2006: Installation of portside storage locker, polyester roof covering (boat builder Helterhoff, Usedom)
2007: New centerboard case and deck reinforcement (Helterhoff)
2009: Transfer to Sweden. Outboard mount and installation of battery and power lines (Helterhoff)
2010: Replacement of mast mount (Duvnäsviken shipyard, Stockholm)
2011: New rudder blade (Svinninge Marina)
2015: New shrouds, new forestay and backstay (Benn's Värmdö)
2018: Extensive deck and cabin reinforcement; new windows
2019: New bow hatch; new mainsail (fully battened) from North Sails
2020: New bollards bow and stern; running rigging renewed; new genoa from North Sails
2021: New starboard locker; new masthead (boat builder Truewoodenworks, Vaxholm)
2022: New upholstery
2023: New battery (Vetus AGM, 70 Ah) and new anchor with lead-out and hawser

The following items are also included in the sale of the boat:

- Mercury 4 outboard motor, 4-stroke, from 2009, with external 20 l tank; inspection with impeller replacement in 2021 by Mickes Motor, Växjö. Regular maintenance.
- In addition to the new North Sails sails, a smaller mainsail, three jibs, and a spinnaker (with spinnaker pole, sheets, etc.)
- Solamare solar panels
- Position light (3 colors), battery operated
- Tsunami Atwood T 500 electric bilge pump
- Gear oil and engine oil; paint (exterior, deck, and roof), varnish (for mast and hull), brass screws, and spare fittings, etc., worth approx. €300
- Gas stove with cartridges, cooler, and small mobile cooler
