Short version:
Fully equipped and tested long-distance yacht for direct (!) sailing. No long tinkering or conversion projects. No maintenance backlog. Safe, comfortable, modern and fast in the water. Elaborate equipment and extensive investments in 2023/24, far beyond the level of comparable yachts. After many comparisons, this one remains a real dream yacht for long-distance cruising for us.

Long version:
We are selling our beloved Wolkenschlößchen, a Jeanneau Yachts 51, with which we fulfilled our dream of cruising the Mediterranean, crossing the Atlantic and cruising the Caribbean with our then 2-year-old daughter. We love this wonderful boat, but are no longer able to use it properly as we are back at work. It belongs in the hands of long-distance sailors/liveaboards. It is too extensively equipped for the occasional vacation. We currently have a berth on Fehmarn, which can be taken over if necessary.

So if you are looking for a modern boat with which you can set sail immediately (!) and are really equipped for everything, then you have come to the right place. Wolkenschlößchen really has everything you need and we are happy to sell her with this complete equipment. She is ideal for families and/or for sailors who are expecting visitors or want to offer (luxury) charters.

Wolkenschlößchen is registered in Germany, VAT is paid in Germany (EU).

What makes the Wolkenschlößchen special:

It is practically new and we are selling it with the complete (and down to the last detail planned really extensive) equipment, extras and spare parts, as we have to take a break from sailing for the time being.

The cockpit area is huge, about 1/3 of the entire boat. The yacht is extremely safely equipped and very fast. We were the 7th boat in the top group at the ARC with all the super yachts with professional crews - with restrained sailing (see daughter). Sailing in pairs or even alone is very easy on the Wolkenschlößchen. You never actually have to leave the cockpit, which is particularly securely built. The in-mast furling allows easy, stepless reefing at the touch of a button. We have made a very special bimini that can be completely closed at the side within seconds so that no wind or water can get in and nobody can fall out. The rear of the boat is also closed. It is therefore as safe as a center cockpit, only with twice as large a sunbathing area. According to the ARC safety check, this is the best bimini they have ever seen on a production boat.

The saloon is extremely comfortable, bright and beautiful. Thanks to sufficient handholds, it is also really seaworthy. The Jeanneau Yachts 51 is the smallest boat in the Jeanneau Yachts series, which is considerably more stable and built with more expensive technology than the usual Jeanneaus. It is effectively Jeanneau's small series. The quality starts with the stable hull, non-crunching floorboards, we have 3 electric Harken winches and a manual one and almost all fittings from Harken. Even with details such as the door hinges or the clock, no savings were made, but the more expensive shelf was always used. The davids are retractable and so the dinghy can be stowed well for long passages.

Before departure, we equipped the Wolkenschlößchen extensively (most of it at the beginning of 2023, but much of it was also improved during the trip). This includes, among other things:
- 7 layers of Coppercoat (works great)
- New staysail as 'flying jib' with new furler in April 2024
- Raymarine Radar Quantum 2 with Scanstrut stand
- 55l watermaker for 12V
- over 1000W solar - so the boat is completely self-sufficient
- 600Ah LiFePo batteries
- 3000W inverter (there is also an 800W inverter for 2 sockets and a small one for the TV)
- Washer-dryer
