Sailcraft Comanche 32, SailCraft

Sailcraft, årg. 1979, skrogmateriale Glasfiber-armeret plast, Diesel, hjemhavn Præstø, Kachina is number 15 of a series of 18 of Rod McAlpine Downie's Comanche 32 catamarans. They were a successor to his highly successful Iroquois catamarans of which more than 300 were built.
He was very conscious of sailing performance and Comanche is a very fast cruising cat.
It sailed until 1986 with an outboard engine, where 2 Volvo Penta diesel engines with Saildrive were subsequently installed!

The boat is continuously updated. New folding propellers in 2023. Cockpit tent, Sprayhood and Lazybag in 2021. New cushions in 2024. Trampoline 2021. New hatches in ceiling 22. New windows in the sides 25!
The boat is very easy to sail and designed for solo sailing. Genoa on Rotostay furling system. Gennaker on removable bowsprit. The gennaker is in a sock.
Good range of instruments. Log, plumb and anemometer from Raymarine, Autopilot and GPS/chartplotter Raymarine.
Hot and cold water in pantry and refrigerator.
