Beskrivelse
Spirit, årg. 1976, skrogmateriale Glasfiber-armeret plast, Benzin, hjemhavn Deetz, Groß Kreutz (Tyskland), Beautiful cabin sailing boat, of course with signs of use due to age, but immediately ready for use. Engine regularly maintained, underwater paint and centerboard halyard new (Dyneema) in 2025, aluminum mast and boom (black). Standing and running rigging new in 2023. Trailer overhauled (rubber sleeve, brake, 5 tires) in 2023.
The Spirit 23 sails like a small yacht and is also easy to handle on her own without being too sluggish. She offers a nice seating area below deck with a table on the port side and a kitchenette with sink (hand pump), storage compartment and spirit stove (no gas system) on the starboard side. You can stand under the sprayhood, the height below deck is approx. 1.5m. In the foredeck there is a large hatch and a triangular sunbathing area, including a sea toilet (not used), water tank and space for a portapotti. The table can be lowered in a few simple steps to create another large sunbathing area. Additional dog bunk on the starboard side.
A very nice and quiet berth at Fichtner Marine in Deetz is paid for the 2025 season and can be taken over by arrangement. From there you can sail in both directions on one of the longest bridge-free stretches of the Havel without having to lay the mast.
The Spirit 23 (before 1978 as the North American 23) was built by the Glastron shipyard in Austin, Texas. It was designed by Robert Finch, who also designed the famous Catalina and Islander yachts. She is a good sailing, but also good-natured boat for 2-4 people, which can also be sailed alone. All lines have been moved to the cockpit. Thanks to the variable draught, she is also suitable for shallow water areas such as the Havel and can be easily transported on a trailer.
