Bavaria 34 Speed

Bavaria, årg. 1993, skrogmateriale Glasfiber-armeret plast, Diesel, hjemhavn Ueckermünde (Tyskland), I bought the boat second-hand at the beginning of 2023 and would now like to sell it because I have to go abroad for a longer period of time.

It is the first performance cruiser from Bavaria. The Match models from Bavaria followed in the early 2000s.

In addition to the high-quality boatbuilding from Bavaria in the 90s, where the boats were also approved by Germanischer Lloyd,
the 34 Speed comes with outstanding sailing characteristics.
It is a very sporty cruising boat. The space available is not like that of a 34 Cruiser. But in terms of sailing, it leaves most of the much larger cruising boats behind.

I had great fun with this boat for two years.
If you like it particularly sporty, you can also sail the boat with optional backstays, which I actually always did because I enjoyed trimming and sporty sailing.

The boat comes with laminate sails from North, which are about 10 years old and still in good condition.
I had the sails checked by the sailmaker last year. The main has new battens and fittings.
In addition to the jib, there are 2x genoa (1 and 2) laminate and a large genoa made of Dacron.
The gennaker will be hoisted on a new selden gennaker pole. A new furling system is also available for this, which is also suitable for a Code0.

The sprayhood and cake stand are in very good condition, as are the lazybag and headsail cover.

A new plotter from Orca navigations (which is also a tablet) was also installed last year. Also a new radio.

The boat was always stored indoors in winter by myself and the previous owners and is very well maintained.
The berth in the Lagunenstadt in Ueckermünde, which has already been paid for the season, can also be taken over, as can the space in the hall.
