General:
GRP Sailing yacht Contest 34 “ Witte Olifant” built in 1976 by Conyplex in Medemblik – Netherlands.
Hull number 23, design by Dick Zaal, dim Loa 10,36 (lwl) 8,41 x3,40 x1,75 m, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, hardened glass windows in aluminium framing, 3x Vetus hatches, round-bilged hull, fin keel, rudder in skeg, displacement approx. 7,4 tonnes, ballast: 3,2 tonnes, fuel tank: 150 litres, 2x freshwater tank total 380 Litres, mechanical wheel steering.
The hull (underwater) complete treatment in 2006, hull & deck painted with 2K paint.
The “Witte Olifant” is frequently renewed and is in a very good condition. She had 3 owners with the current.

Accommodation:
Classic mahogany interior, saloon + front and aft cabin, 4 (+2) berths, headroom approx. 1,95 m, heads with wash bowl, shower, chemical Toilet (Original Jabsco under water toilet is not installed but still available) Webasto diesel heating, hot water through Rinnai geyser(gas), electric water pressure system, galley with sink, Isotherm refrigerator (with small freeze compartment) 3 burner gas stove with oven, Calypso or similar cushion support in Bedrooms, clock and barometer.

Rigging:
Sloop-rigged, aluminium mast, stainless steel fittings, Furlex furling system, mainsail (2014) and genoa (2017) second set (used) mainsail and genoa (130%) Sail covers, Lazy Jack, winches: 2x Enkes 26 in cockpit + 2x Enkes 18 on mast, spi with pole.

Machinery:
Volvo Penta MD17C 3 cylinder diesel 36 hp, engine is from 1985, partly overhauled in 2015, direct cooling, stainless steel propeller shaft, cruising speed approx. 6.5Knots, BCS Bow Thruster, 3x AGM batteries, 2x electric and 1 manual bilge pump, shore power with breaker, Automatic battery charger.

Navigation:
Sestrel compass + Silvia type 70 UN Handheld, Navico multimeter: echosounder, log, Clipper windset (2023) Garmin GPSmap 521, Blaupunkt stereo, TV with antenna in mast.

Equipment:
Sprayhood with cockpit tent (reworked in 2025), tent cover while sailing, bimini, sun cover for hatches, cockpit table & cushions, wind vane, Lofrans electric windlass, anchor with chain, second anchor, boarding ladder, two wired stainless steel sea railing, Seago buoy.

Optional, not included: Plastimo (transocean) Life raft (4Pers) 2022.

Witte Olifant wurde 1976 durch die Conyplex Werft in Alkmaar, Niederlande gebaut.
Sie ist eine hochwertig gebaute Segelyacht in sehr gutem Zustand mit der man auch länger komfortabel Reisen kann.
Wir sind seit 20 Jahren die Eigentümer und Sie befindet sich in dritter Hand. Wir möchten das Schiff wegen Neuanschaffung verkaufen.
Die Witte Olifant wurde ständig erneuert und stand im Winter immer an Land.
