One Off Design 45 fods sejlbåd

One Off Design, årg. 1994, skrogmateriale Træ, Diesel, hjemhavn Fyn, Classic, beautiful and well-sailing 45-foot sailboat built by a Danish boatbuilder. The boat is cold molded, diagonally laminated in mahogany veneer with West System, which means it is strong yet lightweight compared to boats of the same size. It was designed by Jim Hartvig Andersen and has teak decks and mahogany planking.
The boat has only had one owner - who built the boat - and there are a lot of beautiful and practical details, as all the fittings are of his own design. The boat is well maintained with ongoing upgrades of equipment.
The boat is built for long-distance sailing and the hull design suits the big waves. It also sails well in coastal areas in both light and strong winds. It has sailed across most of the Nordic countries, in Scotland and one season in the Mediterranean.
The boat can be sailed singlehanded as all sail handling is returned to the cockpit. It is easy to sail in all weather conditions, not least due to a well-designed rope system for the mainsail. The boat is equipped with a bow thruster for safe harbor maneuvering.
The boat was launched in 1994 and is 45 feet with a maximum width of 3.8 m. We have prioritized good stowage space and it has a large front deck and a large aft deck. Thus, the windlass is hidden below deck, which protects the windlass from wind and weather. Next is a large compartment for fenders and dinghy. The aft compartment has space for ropes, outboard motor, scuba tanks and 2 bicycles, among other things. In the side deck there are rope boxes and a gas box with hatches set into the deck. Ropes from the mast are led back to the cockpit in pipes, which are hidden by a hatch roof. In addition to the mainsail, there are two furling headsails (jib and genoa).
Below deck there is plenty of space and headroom is generally 1.90 cm. There is a spacious front cabin with a double berth and plenty of closet space. Next, a toilet (electric) with holding tank (110 l). There is a well-equipped workshop, ready for long-distance sailing. The saloon itself consists of a large table and sofa/seating all around the table and water tanks under the deck (approx. 300 liters). Next, an angular pantry with gas stove/oven. Opposite the pantry is a large chart table and various instruments and a double berth. As the boat is built in wood, it's easy to change the layout if you want an extra cabin, for example.
Under the cockpit is the engine room (Bukh 36 HP) and battery room (2 starter batteries and 4 consumers), as well as a cool box and an inner storage room.
The boat is heated by an oil boiler (diesel) connected to central heating from a separate diesel tank.
After many fantastic sailing trips with family and friends, the boat is ready for new adventures. The boat is featured on minbaad.dk in 2023.
