This is a 1996 Epiphone Riviera, built at the renowned Peerless factory in Korea—widely regarded for producing some of the best-quality Epiphones ever made. It's a superb semi-hollow that blends vintage style with serious tone.
Professionally upgraded with a pair of cream Gibson P94 pickups, this Riviera delivers massive, articulate P-90-style tones with plenty of bite and warmth—perfect for gritty rock, rich cleans, and everything in between. The pickups were installed as a tribute to Nick Valensi's model, and they bring this guitar closer to the original than the more recent Chinese-made signature models (which I’ve also owned and compared).
The rest of the guitar remains completely stock, including hardware, electronics (aside from the pickups), and finish.
Condition:
Excellent overall, with only minor cosmetic wear—specifically a few light scratches on the back of the headstock (see photos). No breaks, repairs, or structural issues.
Includes original hard shell case (OHSC).
