En af de helt store Bibel kommentarer fra 1800-tallet. Varmt rost af Spurgeon og en uundværlig del af et hvert Bibel bibliotek. Bør stå sammen med Mathew Henry m.fl. Meget vanskelig at opdrive og ofte meget kostbar. Dette sæt er i god stand og solidt indbundet og bør kunne holde et par generationer til. Bemærk dog at ryggen på det 4. bind er gået op. Deraf prisen. Fyldt med virkelig flotte 1800-tals billeder. John Kitto levede fra 1804 til 1854. Han skrev en række vigtige Bibelske værker i sit korte liv. Fra røgfrit hjem.
