The left-hand side eyepiece is a single-lens reflex viewfinder through which you can see a fully open shooting frame. The right-hand is a range finder through which you can see only a central part of the subject. When the subject is out of focus, the image looks double. Turn the focusing ring until the double image becomes one." (instructiob manual)
