22 ¾” scale version (8% shorter than 24 ¾ “ standard) Although it is called ¾ scale, that is a misnomer. It is applied to any guitar with a shorter than standard scale. It is sunburst with a large “tv yellow” center and about a 1 cm wide brown sunburst edge. There are attractive vintage lacquer check lines. The shorter scale makes this guitar exceptionally easy and fast to play on. It has three on a plate early 60’s Kluson deluxe tuners. The guitar weighs a little under 2½ kilos. It has the original brown “faux alligator” soft shell case with the metal Gibson plaque on the sting pocket lid. The case has seen better days , but with TLC it is restorable. Among notable players of this model, was the young Gary Moore in Thin LIzzy.
