BOSS DS 2 is an improved version of the genre's already classic, DS 1. This time - compared to the legendary overdrive pedals from BOSS - it delivers a significantly rougher and more aggressive distortion, which is clearly oriented towards the British amplifier stack sound, yet far away from the previously rather toneless fuzz distortion. In addition, the DS-2 has another mode that enables even more aggressive sounds. You can use both options live as there is an additional connector for a footswitch with which you can switch between modes. Extremely flexible!
