The diameter just won’t fit? In other words: There is play between the frame seat tube and seat post, the correct installation of the seat post is therefore impossible due to its undersize? Then our high-quality G.Shim reducing sleeve provides a quick remedy: Simply inserted into the seat tube, it allows the exact adjustment of the seat tube inner diameter of your frame to the outer dimension of the seat post. The ingenious design of the double-slotted aluminum reducing sleeve promises stability and guarantees the even, gentle transmission and distribution of clamping forces by material-locking connection. The G.Shim version for reducing a 34.9 mm seat tube diameter to 31.6 mm allows the installation of common Variostützen in mountain bike frames with 34.9 mm dimension. If the seatpost is adjusted in height or dismantled, the lightweight G.Shim remains firmly in position in the seat tube due to your preload.
