Solidly built, with an IP 67 submersible rating, this model has a back-lit LCD display, PTT switch, headset connections, channel scan, VOX mode with five levels, compander, ‘roger’ and key beeps, quiet-talk mode and five levels of microphone gain.
A 2.5mm, single-pole jack provides an external microphone input. There is a 3.5mm, single-pole jack on the side of the unit, spaced to accept standard dual plugs, for feeding an external earpiece or speaker.
