Stand: Brugt - men i god stand
This is a good older book covering the Art Nouveau movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with primary emphasis on furniture, and interiors, and a strong secondary emphasis on lamps, glass, pottery and other small art-objects.
Super pictures of glass and jewellry from Lalique, Tiffany and Gallé.
The hardback book is from 1975 but seems to have some unique Pictures, both colour and Black and White, not seen in other books.
A good book on Art Nouveau history and beautiful photos.
The book shows furniture and interiors from European countries.
The book is known for these highlight pictures:
A spectacular Dijsselhoff room setting in the Gemeentemuseum, The Hague, and a van de Velde armchair that ”suggests the idea of comfort -- without in fact being comfortable.”
It is Only 64 pages but worth the money.
The book is in good condition for its 50 Years but there is wear and tear to dustcover and all pages show signs of colour fading.(see pictures 2 and 4).
