The lens is in a fantastic condition. No noticeable signs of use. Aperture blades, clickable aperture ring and smooth focusing ring work perfectly. Comes with both caps and a box.
It is the S version of the lens, allowing for 1:1 reproduction ratio (the C version gives only 1:2 ratio). The lens has an interesting history. It was bought by a university in former East Germany (Dresden or Leipzig) in late 1980s for documenting scientific work but was never used.
Can be attached to modern DSLR and mirrorless cameras with adapters.
Serial no. 7253728. Made in Japan (AEJ series). The number on the box matches the number on the lens.
The price reflects eBay prices for the same (AEG/AEJ) lens with a box (approx. 370-400 euros).
