SOLD AS-IS / DEFECTIVE FOR PARTS. Large bundle of high-capacity hard drives sold together as a single lot. Ideal for tech hobbyists, data recovery specialists, or anyone looking for donor controller boards (PCBs) and head assemblies.
The lot consists of 36TB of raw defective storage with the following precise hardware faults:
• 1x Seagate EXOS 12TB Enterprise: Seized motor. Fails to spin up properly and emits abnormal mechanical noises/stutters on startup.
• 1x Seagate Barracuda 8TB (ST8000DM004): Reports "Caution" status in CrystalDiskInfo due to a high number of reallocated/pending sectors (physical surface degradation). The drive is still detected by the system.
• 2x Western Digital 80EDAZ 8TB: 1 unit is completely dead and undetected by BIOS/PC (likely a blown PCB component). 1 unit spins up fully to operating speed, but then falls into a rhythmic mechanical click loop (unable to read the firmware handshake track).
Sold strictly as a single batch for spare parts, without any warranty or returns. Perfect PCB harvest project.
