"Founded in 1877 in Nottingham, Raleigh produced some of the finest racing bicycles of the British cycling heritage.
Its Lightweight Unit produced complete machines of high quality, of which this model is one. The lightweights brochure page is included in the sale.
This bicycle glows uniquely under the sun. Twine finished cotton bar tape and unique patina add to the lively feel of this bicycle.
In 2020 the original owner sold this bike to me. The past five years it has been respectfully enjoyed and restored.
