"Huta Szkła Lucyna is a historic Polish glassworks and a recognized name in mid-century and vintage Polish art glass.
The Glassworks (Pieńsk, Poland): Originally founded in 1886 as CH Schubert & Co in Pieńsk (southwestern Poland), the factory later merged with other firms before being acquired by a Polish investor and renamed Huta Szkła Lucyna. It historically specialized in temperature-resistant glass for petroleum lamps, light shades, and crystal/art glass products (such as items marked with 24% PBO lead crystal stickers). The factory closed and was abandoned in 2007.
Designers: The glassworks and its style are closely associated with prominent Polish utility glass and art glass designers of the 20th century, including Lucyna Pijaczewska (who also designed works associated with Sudety Glassworks), alongside figures like Zbigniew Horbowy"
