The Mackenzie uses the same technologies that AudioQuest applies across its higher-end cables: solid-core high-purity copper, direction-controlled conductors and a multi-layer noise-dissipation system. The result is a clean, quiet and detailed presentation.

- Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors to minimise distortion and strand interaction
- Triple-Balanced geometry with a separate ground-reference conductor
- Nitrogen-injected Hard-Cell Foam insulation for low dielectric loss
- Carbon-based 3-layer noise-dissipation system
- Direction-controlled conductors (arrows marked on the connectors)
- Cold-welded, silver-plated terminations over pure copper
