Charles Aznavour – Les Jours Heureux – Sjælden dobbelt autograf på vinyl (begge sider)
A unique collector’s piece for fans of French chanson and rare autographs
Offered for sale is an original French vinyl single (EP) featuring an autograph by the legendary French singer and songwriter Charles Aznavour — Les Jours Heureux, released in 1970 on the iconic French label Barclay.
Charles Aznavour passed away in 2018 at the age of 94.
The main highlight — an exceptionally rare double autograph
The record sleeve was personally signed by Charles Aznavour on both sides.
Aznavour left two virtually identical, large and expressive handwritten signatures in black marker — one on the front of the sleeve and another on the back.
Both sides feature his characteristic handwritten inscription:
“Avec amitié”
(“With friendship” / “With warm regards”)
followed by his signature.
Double-signed examples of this kind are extremely rare, as artists very rarely signed the same item twice. Having the artist’s autograph and handwritten inscription on both sides makes this an especially unusual and distinctive piece for a serious Aznavour or French chanson collector.
A remarkable vintage piece and a highly unusual piece of Charles Aznavour memorabilia.
Condition
Very good vintage condition for an item more than 55 years old.
The original glossy cardboard sleeve is preserved.
