Varebeskrivelse
(Extatosoma tiaratum,
Australian Stick Insect,
Spiny Leaf Insect)
...
Great choice! 🙌
Australian Stick Insects are seriously IMPRESSIVE pets!
Extatosoma tiaratum is one of the most fascinating and popular stick insect species kept as a pet. They grow much larger and look a lot more exotic than the common Indian Stick Insect. And they are still surprisingly easy to keep.
We purchased ours when my son was 3 years old,
and it was the best purchase we’ve made.
Kids (and adults) love them! 💖
P.S.
They are completely harmless to people –
they do NOT sting or bite, have NO venom, and are very gentle to handle.
...
How to take care of them:
✅ Give them leaves ~1 time per week
✅ Spray / mist with water 2-3 times per week
✅ Keep them indoor (20-26C is great)
That’s basically it!

💡 Pro tip:
Keep them together with Orange Isopods and Springtails.
The Orange Isopods and the Springtails will keep the terrarium clean.
While staying in the bottom layer, feeding on the dry leaves.
This is even better – because now you have a bio-active terrarium,
or in other words, you have your own ecosystem :-)
You can buy those as well from me.
