• 1x Gigabit WAN + 4x Gigabit LAN (10/100/1000)
• 2x USB 2.0 - file server (FTP/SAMBA), DLNA/UPnP media server, print server
• Hardware NAT: over 900 Mbps WAN-to-LAN over cable
• Internal antennas: 2x 3.8 dBi (2.4 GHz), 3x 5.1 dBi (5 GHz)
• 128 MB RAM / 8 MB flash

Everything on the wired side is still full gigabit, so it works very well as a router for a normal household - it is very stable, or purely as a switch and access point. The USB ports can host a hard drive as a simple network drive, or share a printer across the network.
Supports WPA2 but not WPA3. ASUS no longer releases firmware updates for this model, but on the other hand it runs custom firmware such as Padavan and OpenWrt if that's your thing.
The USB ports are 2.0, so it is not meant to be a fast NAS.
