The collection includes several family photo albums from different periods, antique cabinet cards, studio portraits, historical documents, handwritten notes, and newspaper clippings. Among the photographs are works from well-known Danish photographic studios active in the late19th and early 20th centuries, including N. C. Madsen (Aalborg, 1889–1921), John Friis (Vesterbrogade20, Copenhagen,1883–1900), and H. Hansen (Vesterbrogade43, Copenhagen). One of the albums features thick cardboard pages, gilt edges, and an original metal clasp. The collection also includes a set of original wedding photographs together with the original newspaper clipping describing the same wedding, as well as later color family photographs. If you recognize your family or are a descendant of the people in these albums, please contact me. I would like this archive to return to its original family. Otherwise, the complete collection is offered for sale as one lot.
