Offered for sale is a rare vintage AR-72 aircraft radio receiver, manufactured by Aeronautical Communications Equipment Inc., Miami, Florida, USA.
The unit is believed to date from approximately the 1940s–1950s and represents an impressive example of early post-war aircraft communication technology.
This is a substantial professional aviation receiver with classic vacuum-tube construction, a complex mechanical channel-selection system and extensive original internal electronics.
The receiver appears remarkably complete and retains many of its original components and features.
