Stand: Brugt - men i god stand
Beautiful vintage Kutani tea set, hand painted in Japan, with delicate Japanese landscape scenes, including mountains, trees, traditional houses and a waterwheel. Finished with elegant gold detailing on the rims, handles and lids.
A lovely detail is that each piece features two different painted scenes on opposite sides, giving the set a particularly decorative and unique look.
The set includes:
* 6 tea cups
* 3 saucers / underplates
* 2 lidded teapots in different sizes
* 1 milk/cream jug
Originally there would have been 6 saucers, so 3 saucers are missing.
Vintage condition with signs of age and use. One cup has a crack/small damaged area on the rim, shown in the photos. There is also some natural wear to the gold detailing consistent with age.
Marked “Kutani – Hand Painted – Made in Japan” on the base.
