A beautifully restored vintage Peugeot road bike, stripped down, cleaned, reassembled, and regreased throughout — ready to ride and built to last.
Work carried out includes:
New rear wheel, freewheel (7-speed), tyre, and chain
New chainring bolts (anodised purple)
New brake cables and housing, plus new rear derailleur cable and housing
New bar tape and brake pads
New jockey wheels on the original rear derailleur
Cranks, pedals, bottom bracket, and headset all disassembled, cleaned, and regreased
Frame and components cleaned and polished
The bike shifts and brakes smoothly, and rides like new. Original components — including the crankset, pedals, rear derailleur, and Selle San Marco saddle — have been kept and restored rather than replaced, to preserve its character.
There are some paint chips and small cosmetic marks consistent with its age (including light wear on the saddle), but nothing that affects how it rides. Mechanically, it's in excellent shape.
A lovely classic city bike with real charm, backed by a full mechanical restoration.
