This is a vintage solid bronze/brass decorative bowl or tray crafted by the renowned Danish manufacturer Nordisk Malm between the 1940s and 1960s.A classic example of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern and Brutalist design, it features an intricately embossed wide rim depicting all 12 signs of the zodiac surrounded by stars. The deep center of the bowl showcases a heavily textured, crater-like finish reminiscent of the lunar surface.Due to its substantial weight and solid casting, this highly collectible piece functions beautifully as a desktop catchall (vide poche), a statement jewelry dish, a vintage ashtray, or an striking astrological wall decor piece.
