Stand: Brugt - men i god stand
Selling a rather unique NAS that is in perfect working condition with a lot of upgrades and very cool features! It was installed in a clean server room with active AC.
Unique features:
- IPMI, fully managed web browser based interface console with complete control over the hardware, turn on/off, remote media boot (supports, .iso, .img etc), monitor power and thermals just like a enterprise server. You can see and modify BIOS and OS remotely without ever connecting a monitor cable only by WAN/LAN.
- x86 platform for supporting various NAS appliances and OS, can run Synology DSM with some tweaking.
- SATA & SAS support in the backplane connectors, currently the motherboard supports only SATA, but you can install a different motherboard OR install a RAID card with SAS support without touching or modifying the backplane. The backplane has regular SATA breakout so you can run the old or new cables to a RAID card.
- Low profile PCIe slot on the chassis, can be used for dedicated RAID controller, NIC's or GPU.
- Removable motherboard tray, most of the cables have necessary slack so the motherboard can be serviced outside the chassis.
- Low energy cpu 35W, never exceeds 50-55C under load especially with the upgraded cooler.
- Fan curve tweaking, on the disk backplane there is a DIP switch in which the fan curve can be adjusted, alternatively you can power the fan by the motherboard.
- [optional] 2.5 HDD can be installed in the side of the disk cage, you can see it on the photos they are 2 hooks and 2 screws for securing the disk. So the actual disk capacity could be 5 disks if there is a need.
- [optional] DVD slot on top of the disk cage.
The whole NAS has been built with upgradability and serviceability in every section, I have worked with many NAS vendors and all of them had proprietary motherboards or locked hardware, in this case you can customize literally everything and can upgrade with the generation of hardware of your liking [cpu, ram, nic, raid controller, gpu, psu, disk capacity].
