Designet af Gertrud Vasegaard i 1956.
Enkel form med svage kanter og diskret kant i brunlig tone.

This service comprised eight parts and was heavily influenced by Chinese and Japanese tea-sets, from the shape of the tea-pot and its cane handle to the application and subsequent removal of glaze around the rim. It was selected by Finn Juhl on behalf of the Danish Society of Arts and Crafts and Industrial Designer for inclusion in the exhibition ‘Two Centuries of Danish Design’ held at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, in 1968. The service was met with great acclaim, combining the exactnesss of Gertrud Vasegarrd's vision with the commercial potential enabled by the firm of Bing & Grøndahl. The cream-coloured glaze was used by the factory at Vasegaard's request, as they usually used a bright white. For further references and illustrations, see:
