If all original vintage parts and colour way is your jam, then this Raleigh Record Ace is for you. From 1982, when Team Raleigh Campagnolo was top of the pops in the tour circuit. Produced at Raleigh’s Lightweight Division in Britain.
The original owner kindly passed his bike on to me in 2020. Has been restored, respectfully enjoyed and well maintained since then.
64cm Frame Reynolds 531 Double Butted Tubes and Taper Gauge Stays. SunTour GS Forged Ends. Haden Royal Sovereign Lugs. Finished in Ice green original paint and ESGE gold chromoplastic mudguards.
27x1 1/4 Weinmann rims Maillard hubs with quick release. 2x6 Campagnolo Gran Sport gearing. Maillard Freewheel. White Cat Eye Japan bottle cage
The bike presents very well, draws compliments from people, rides smoothly, stops well, paint does show signs of use though it is all original without any touch ups.
Modern additions are Grepp brown bartape, Brooks C17 Cambium, Connex chain, Velo Orange toe clips, Shimano bottom bracket, fresh Schawalbe tires and tubes keep it moving.
All parts are checked and working. Rare in this great condition.
