Stand: Brugt - men i god stand
Handmade Oribe-style chawan from Japan, with the classic bold green copper glaze poured over a cream base and iron-brown hand-painted geometric decoration. Hand-thrown with visible throwing lines and a warm ivory crackle glaze — each side looks different thanks to the green-to-cream transition.
Signed on the base with an impressed artist’s mark, and comes with its original wooden storage box (tomobako), inscribed with brush calligraphy and a red seal.
Great for tea ceremony use, display, or any collector of Japanese studio pottery.
Condition: Great vintage condition — fine glaze crazing is intentional.
