Smuk og ekstremt tung vintage glashund i en rig rav/cognac-farve. Figuren er udført i massivt kunstglas med kontrollerede luftbobler (bullicante-teknik). Perfekt stand uden skår eller ridser.
(EN) Beautiful and very heavy vintage art glass dog figurine in a rich amber/cognac color. This mid-century piece features the classic "bullicante" technique with controlled air bubbles trapped inside the solid glass.The dog has a beautiful silhouette with long ears looking up, likely inspired by a poodle or spaniel. Due to the textured pattern on the base, it is most likely a collectible piece from British Wedgwood Glass (Ronald Stennett-Wilson design) or Scandinavian origin from around the 1960s/1970s.
A substantial and high-quality piece for any collector of Mid-Century Modern retro glass.
