The Danish Academy in Rome is a fine example of modern architecture made by the Danish architect Kay Fisker. Kay Fisker is known for being one of the architects bridging a new time and he knew how to transfer the cubist design ideals of international Functionalism into simple brick buildings. The book demonstrates the architecture of the building, its history and the design phase by texts, original illustrations and beautiful photographs made by the renowned photographer Jens Lindhe.
